Wind Turbine Construction

Carving the blades; there is a twist in the angle of the blade that starts from 20 degrees at the root to about 5 degrees at the tip. Most of the work is done with a draw knife, but also chisels and angle grinders were used.

Here are the coils laid out in the mould. The mould was then filled with fibreglass resin.
