Serving Lord Jagannath has a very special feel to it. He is most merciful to all his servants in more ways than can be imagined.

There's plenty to do (to say the least). Whatever your particular skill or desire, please help everyone get the most out of Rathayatra (including yourself) by volunteering for something or other.

you can get in touch for a list of services available, and let us know what aspects interest you. For example, we can use some help for things like:

Garland making
Flower arranging
Pot washing
Sound engineering
Stage assistants
Site ushers
On-site security
Site clean-up (before and after)
Volunteer co-ordinators
Coach co-ordination
Information booths
Children's area helpers
Sign and banner making

Site set up / dismantle
Fly posting

Always welcome and needed are more donors and friends to help pay for this stunning festival.

If you do volunteer for a service, please be sure to inform whoever you are working with, well in advance if you cannot do the service. In order for us to make this a highly successful and enjoyable festival for all parties concerned we need many helpers and any positive input anyone would like to put in.

Different devotees will be heading various areas of service, so you will be assigned to work and communicate with the leader. Training sessions will be available for those in certain roles.
