Welcome

We are affiliated to the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, and have been meeting in Reading for nearly 20 years.

The meetings are an opportunity for local people to learn about Lord Krishna (the Supreme Personality of Godhead), the nature of the soul within each of us, and our relationship within the spiritual and material worlds.

We study the ancient Vedic scriptures such as the Bhagavad Gita and the Srimad Bhagavatam, usually led by an experienced devotee from one of our temples. And, as you would expect of any Hare Krishna group, we sing a lot too!

We always finish the evening with a free vegetarian meal.

We meet at the Society of Friends meeting house, near St Giles Church.
